The Greenmont Racquet & Swim club was opened in 1970 and recently celebrated 35 years of serving the local tennis community. It currently serves as an official Tennis Welcome Center.

Greenmont features 4 Indoor tennis court, 5 Clay courts, 4 Hard courts, 2 Racquetball courts, A Squash court and a junior olympic size swimming pool, nursery and lounge. The club has over 500 members who participate in activities ranging from summer swim team to summer junior tennis league, adult league tennis, Cardio Tennis, tennis lessons for adults and juniors.

The club hosts the annual Greenmont Open every July, two local Rotary tennis tournaments, one in March and the other in August.

The club has an exceptional tennis staff, with John and fellow pro Gene Marchetti, who has a distinguished record of teaching tennis, along with Jay Carter, Dave McDowell and Brandon Simmons.
